Picked up a flying dog corked and caged 750ml of gonzo at a small shop in tampa this weekend, bottle says 2005 underneath the picture of the gonzo statue. Is this bottle actually from 2005, been drinking gonzo since 08 or 09 and have never seen a c&c version of it. Any help would be appreciated.

Wild Dog is the series.....it's a bottle of Barrel-Aged Gonzo if you read the full listing title.

Is your bottle numbered or signed by Ralph Steadman?

EDIT: Sounds like it's a Batch #1 since 2005 is the first year that they brewed Gonzo.

Had a little dust in it, one of my favorite beers so I didn't hesitate to get especially since I had never seen it in that format before. By the way I have had auld dog before, prefer the non barrel version.

I didn't realize that flying do was still in Colorado in 2005.
