2006 Mephistopheles

    Found a stash of these today and grabbed one for about 9 bucks. Haven't tried it yet, didn't seem like a beer I should be opening and drinking by myself while I hung with Mom. Anyways, anyone had any this old? Should I be going back and scooping them up? I know, I have to drink it and decide for myself but I'm simply interested in others' opinions and experiences with aged Mephistopheles. TIA.

    They are great fresh and even more so with some age (most of the time, anyway). We did an '09 and a '10 a couple weeks back and the group thought the '10 was a bit better.

    I had an 07 this past fall, and it was also delicious. i would snatch those up
