Got a bottle of the 2007 D'Extra ... never had the beer.

But, it's being released again in December. Maybe I should hold off on drinking it tonight like I planned so that I can do a side-by-side? (Sorry, I'm just really excited about it!)

I'd totally wait till they release it again. It'd be fun to to do a side by side. Espicaly since you've never had it fresh before. Enjoy and cheers!

I would wait. I drank my last bottle last year, and it still had good aroma, flavor, body, and carbonation. So another few months won't hurt.

Had one a few months ago and it was stellar. Still got one more courtesy of the ever generous @nesarebad!

Was happy to share, and yes it was great. OP, personally I would hold on to it for a unique side by side.

I've got one in the cellar. Definitely saving it to do a side by side when the new batch comes out.

It's settled. Side by side, it is. I got this 2007 and it was in my fridge, begging to be consumed. Out of sight, out of mind. It's in my cellar, waiting for the new one to come out. Should be fun.

I got a couple bottles of this last year - had one and it was amazing, very complex-and the carbonation held up well too. Looking forward to trying the other one side by side once 2014 is released.
