Anyone crack one open lately? I have saved my last bottle of the 2007 release to celebrate my graduation from law school in Pittsburgh. Just wondering if it is still aging well or if it is slippling off.

    Cheers!

Congrats on the graduation. Recent reviews of the 2007 vintage are quite high and some specifically note that it is aging well. In case you haven't read them yet, you should peruse them.

Enjoy--this sounds like a fantastic beer!

Congrats. Where are you graduating from in Pittsburgh? For what it's worth, 2007 is my favorite vintage, and it is holding up incredibly well. Had one a few months ago and it still blew me away. The 2007 and 2005 are both drinking awesome right now.

Al cracked a vertical of Gratitude last year, I believe, '05-'09 and my two favorites were '05 and '07. They were both phenomenal. Congrats, you won't be disappointed.

As said, it should be great. We did an 06-10 vert last year starting with the youngest, and imo, it was the best vert I've ever had. Each beer as we went back was a little better than the one we had before it. Never had that happened with any other vert I've been a part of, and I haven't found one since.

Greatness. That batch is awesome, and by far the best of any that I have had (07, 08, 09, 10). enjoy

I had an 05-09 vertical of it after the 09 release. The consensus was that the 07 would taste like the 05 two years out from that tasting. It's about two years out so I would expect it to taste pretty damn good.

Sure wish East End would finally release 2011! We're halfway through 2012, and yet, no Gratitude.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was released in the fall given that:

    1) They usually release after the 2nd quarter of the year has started in a normal year.
    2) They are extra busy with the new brewery.
