    I had a 2002, 2004, 2005, and a 2008 back in 2011. All of them were great.

I have 3 un-dated WWS bottles that I had assumed were from 2012 (when I bought them) but obviously that's not the case. Was there a particular year that was undated?

I had one from 2003, and thought it was one of the best aged stouts I've ever tried. The alcohol content really mellows out.

The yellow markings on the neck wear off quite easily. Also, earlier vintages didn't have the yellow screen printing and instead have a hash on the bottle (see the 120 Minute IPA in my avatar).

i prefer WWS with about 7-8 years on it, more than that and I find it is a little much

I notice a big improvement at about 1 year. I have gone as old at 4 years and definitely enjoyed those as well. I think I still have 1 bottle left from 2007 which I will have soon. I guess to be more direct to your question, 1 to 2 years is the sweet spot for me.

So I checked my bottles and three of them have no date and no hash but I did find one with 2012 stamped onto the neck...now I'm really confused

They brewed the 2011 batch in two halfs. They released the first half at the end of 2011 and the second half in the beginning of 2012

Cool, might have to open my February 2011 soon. I was interested in seeing it with the hops dialed back a bit.

Picked up one ina 8.99 mix six. The owners of the store bought a 4-pack to share thinking it'd no longer be brewed, and put back two they didn't think they'd drink. Score for me.
