The guy at Mesa Liquor once offered to sell me a bottle of 020202 for $400. This was like 4 years ago. As I walked out the door I glanced askance at the rows of dusty old bottles slow cooking sitting in the summer heat.
its not that great of a beer, and should not be priced at $25 per bottle, Ive had the beer on at least 5 occassions at local beer festivals. Pricing it at ~$15 would be much more realisitic.
pretty sure thats a beer thats never been released in the 500ml format! and stone doesnt distribute any of the 500ml bottles anyways, for the exact reason of price gouging and finding them on ebay later. they only get sold at the brewery, and the last release was el camino unreal in virgin american oak barrels anyways...
Incorrect. This was distributed. I've seen it at two different bottle shops between the IE and OC. Just started popping up this week.
I Love the Stone brews! I have gotten into collecting bottles of all the beers I have tasted would love to get this one. I am in the central valley and wondering if anyone knew how I could track this down?
I called them and they said Stone is making them do it. I then called Stone and they said BS... shaddy
Just picked one up today at a Whole Foods in Long Beach. One case in the back so you have to ask for it. Price was $24.99.
Wine Country in Long Beach has it for $24.99. I grabbed some Russian River Salvation and Consecration instead
