2009 Black Tuesday

Didn't wanna post this in the review thread, since I'm not giving a full review, and I've never had it fresh.

Held onto this one for about two years, and cracked it last night for my 30th birthday party.

Dear God was this beer damn near perfection though. The bourbon certainly wasn't as pronounced as other imperial stouts, and it was certainly on the sweeter side. But at 19.5% ABV, I thought the alcohol was generally well-hidden, and the beer overall was extremely complex. It wasn't soy-sauce thick like I've seen others say, but damn close.

Anyways, I say if you got one, crack it open.
