2009 Dark Lord

    Is there some crazy joke going around about 2009 Dark Lord here on BA? I've had it three times in the last year, and I've always thought it was the worst of 06-11 Dark Lord Verticals. Now people are saying it's drinking amazing and it's trading for super insta-whales? I just can't see it.

    Has anyone actually opened one in the last 3-6 months and enjoyed it more than an 08 or 10?

    Not all of us have full verticals of Dark Lord laying around, y'know.

    I had an '09 back in April and I didnt like it as much as the '11 I had last December. Those are my only DL experiences FWIW

    Someone posted a fake FT: Ann ISO: 2009 Dark Lord. He was attempting to appear magnanimous and like the "ideal" BA. He talked about how great the 09 was tasting. Thus, the joke.
