2009 Darkness = CBS is this a fair trade? if not how far off is either side? Thanks in advance. Trying to work out a deal.
I'd ask for more than a CBS if I had a properly aged 09 Darkness. With that said, if I was dying to try CBS and perhaps had multiple aged Darkness (or didn't like Darkness), I might do it.
It would definitely take more than a CBS to get a 2009 Darkness from me. I'm sure Darkness owners will say one thing and CBS owners will say another. I have bottles of both so I'm more likely to drink them than trade them.
a 2009 seems like a bit much to offer straight up for CBS. though I have a 2010 that I would give up for a CBS and feel fairly good about.
How about 2009 Darkness = Blacknote? which side would have to add? I'm trying to land either a Blacknote or a CBS for my spare '09 Darkness and haven't had either beers before. Wow, i'd gladly trade a '10 Darkness for CBS as i have a few more of them. I was thinking of posting up a '10 Darkness = King Henry?
sadly true, though only slightly, and for no real reason. Many of the people who got Blacknote landed tons of bottles (heck... one guy sold like 8 of them on ebay and traded several more on here and other beer site O_O)
Absolutely not for Black Note, imo. I'm not even sure I would give up a CBS for it, either, even though it seems like a fair trade to me. It's hard for me to judge fairly, though, since I've never had Darkness, and Black Note and CBS are two of my favorite beers.
I don't think a CBS alone should pull an '09 Darkness and this is coming from someone who has a CBS and no Darkness. If it does though, I'd definitely do it.
