I've got a 2009 Darkness that someone would appreciate much more than I would, but I'm not ready to part with quite yet. I don't know what it is worth. I got shut out of KBS due to circumstances out of my control this year, never got close to CBS, and haven't been able to find anyone willing to part with Sexual Chocolate.

What is a Darkness of that vintage worth in terms of those three beers? Maybe knowing will push me to part with it.

You could def get a CBS with that, though CBS is past it's prime IMO. Or you could get several sexual chocolates or 4 packs of kbs. Just for reference I've traded a darkness '12 for a 4 pack of kbs before.

    Good luck.

Try for the BA sexual chocolate, much better than normal sexual chocolate. Normal Sexual is nothing special.

I beg to differ, my friend. I had it for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a-flipping-mazing (the regular version). I've not had the BA version, but as a big stout fan (and a fan of big stouts:slight_smile:), I had high expectations, and it more than exceeded them. Very unique, and very tasty.

I love big stouts as well and I've had a lot of the big boys over the years and Sexual Chocolate is just not on the level of some of the better Imperial Stouts/RIS out there to me that is. I guess we can agree to disagree on the normal Sexual Chocolate. Different strokes, different palates. You should really try the BA version, that is pretty damn good. 20 year old Pappy Van Winkle barrels. MMMM-mmmm!

BA version blows the normal one out of the water.

If there's a universe in which you can get SEVERAL 4 packs of KBS for ONE 09 Darkness, I'd like you to tell me how to get there, cuz I'm going there to make some trades.

I don't see how one '09 Darkness wouldn't pull multiple 4 packs of KBS. I would do that in a second if I had multiple KBS 4 packs.

Maybe it's the English major in me, but several and multiple have separate and distinctive definitions.

Must just be the English major in you...haha...the only difference is multiple could be two, while several is usually considered more than two.

Sorry 2 - a couple 4 packs of kbs. Also a couple bottles of sexy chocolate easily. Like I said I traded a Fresh darkness for a 4 pack of kbs. The OP shouldn't have a problem landing any of these individual beers.

    English major eh?
Several is more than two, not three.
Hate to bust your balls, but...

    sev·er·al

    /ˈsev(ə)rəl/
    Adjective
More than two but not many

    Edit:
Example; I have several KBS (3, to be exact) that I would trade for a CBH.

    ...no really, I do

    Edit on edit:
I would throw in several (3, to be exact) CWBBBW to sweeten the deal.

    ...I really would:wink::wink:

I would gladly give 3 cans of Bud Light Limerita for a bottle of 2009. Any takers?

Nice copying and pasting, bro. It shouldn't take an English major to explain to you that language acquires meaning through common usage and shared understanding. The point is, the word several is vague (read: NOT exact), but is INDICATIVE of more than three. If this is too difficult for you to understand, I really can't help you.

So if I drink 3 cans of Bud Light Limerita and am extremely hungover the next day, does that mean I had "several?"

Hey, relax professor - I was just poking fun at you.
I thought that was allowed here once and awhile. :flushed:

It may be indicative to you as more than three, but as you just stated - the meaning of the word several is indeed vague and there are many (or should I say, several) definitions.
Perhaps you shouldn't have have stated earlier, as fact, that several = more than three.

Either way, I'm terribly sorry to have loosened your bolts on the subject.
And I didn't copy & paste my apology - I made that up all on my own.

    Cheers!
