I came across a couple of bottles of 2009 Matilda in an unusual place today. They are sitting on the shelf of a local grocery store. Assuming they've been there for 2+ years, are they going to be any good? Should I buy them?.

Sorry, this is probably a silly question, but I really have no idea. Any thoughts are appreciated.

    Cheers.

Yeah, buy them. I have a 09' Matilda in the cellar, which I'm saving for a 5 year vertical.

Matilda isn't my favorite of the GI Belgians, but if the price is reasonable, I'd buy it.

Hell yeah! The brett is probably really shining by now.

I've decided not to buy it, mostly because that isn't really one of my favorite styles. Mistake or not, here's where you can find it, in case anyone in the Detroit area is interested in picking it up. It's the Produce Warehouse on 12 Mile and Dequindre in Warren.

Report back or BM me and let me know how it tastes. If you like it, you owe me!

    Cheers
