2009 Sam Adams utopia

    Been aging since then... Thinking about popping it open wondering if I should keep it going, benefits? Any help appreciated thanks!

    Considering how high the ABV is, i was considering on waiting at least 10yrs to open my bottle. Remember since there is no carbonation and high alcohol, you have many days, weeks, months to drink it over. I would consider using a wine vacuum pump if you are going to consume it over a long period of time.

    Treat it like a cognac. Meaning, it's going to hold that same sort of flavor through its life regardless of a vacuum.
