I'm coming up on my 200th review on BA!!! For my 100th I reviewed FW Abacus. I was for opinions if it was cool to review FW Sucaba for my 200th or would it not really count? I have plenty of other great beers to try/review for the first time:
    GI BCBCS '11
    GI Bramble Rye
    DFH 120
    DFH Noble Rot
    Upland Teddy Bear Kisses
2009 Left Hand Oak Aged Imperial Stout
    Hoppin Frog BA BORIS
    Weyerbacher Verboten
    Rochefort 8
    Widmer Spicy IPA
    Lost Abbey Angels Share
Mikkeller Draft Bear... and a ton of other stuff.

Anyway... would it be cool to do the same brew every 100 reviews (I.E. Year)? Any thoughts would be apprieciated.
    thanks...Blaze

well, on that list, my favorite beer is BA boris (have had BCBS, 120, noble rot, verboten, rochefort 8, angel's share, not had the others). if the angel's share is carbonated, it could be the best beer on the list even if you include abacus.

so, i vote BA boris. i remember reviewing it myself, and that a 22oz bottle of BA boris to yourself is basically like a sustained 1~2 hour orgasm.

I'd do the Boris or Bramble Rye. Or, whichever of those beers has the least reviews. That might make it special as well. Cheers to your 200th.

Do the Rochefort 8. I think your 200th review is kind of a milestone, and the beer you review should be something special to commemorate the occasion.

Thanks...It's been fun! LOL!!! Probably drank 500 different beers, but I do have a business to run and a family that needs to see me! I love reviewing, but I only do it when I have some free time.

I would say do the Bramble Rye. Don't want to drink it too late or the huge fruit presence (like it or not) will be muted. Then again, you could just make it review 201 or something like that if you're merely concerned with the flavors falling off.

Nothing wrong with your first choice, I think it would be a perfect. I am approaching my 200th also. How can tell what review you are on with the new format. It doesn't show reviews on your profile anymore, correct?

A few others have said BA Boris and I would agree, I feel Bramble and Noble Rot are also great choices. Congrats on 200 reviews!

Go to the BeerAdvocate home page and click "Your: Beers" on the left hand side. That will give you a list of your reviews.
