So im very new to cellaring and aging beers. But i absolutely love barely wines

Today I was in a local liquor store and found 3 Stone O.G.'s 2 from 2011 and one from 2010.
    Are theses anything special?
    Should I drink them now?
Should I age them out more?

    Thanks

Wait until this winter so you can pick up 2014 OG, invite friends over and vertical all three.

I love Old Guardian it's one of my favorite BWs. Drink one of the '11 and make sure you like it with age. I'd save the other '11 and the '10 for a vertical with a fresh one.

I can't imagine the 2011 has gotten any worse since it was fresh, give it a try. Let us know how it is too, I still have one bottle.

I did a vert last year with this one going back to 2007, and I thought this beer aged well. I wouldn't say it's mind blowing, and it doesn't have much trade value, so maybe "special" isn't the right word, but they're solid with age and change drastically (I hate this beer fresh). As long as these aren't exorbitantly priced, this would be a great way to start learning how age can affect a beer. Just keep in mind that you probably don't know how these beers were stored. If they were kept in the wrong temp or in the light, they'll probably just be bad, but if they're on the shelf for a reasonable price, I'd jump at the opportunity to try 'em.

storage conditions can affect the beer, as well as other unseen factors such as a bottle cap not having been completely secured. I had an 07 and 08 recently and the 07 was bought from a store not to long ago and was horribly ozidized. the 08 was received in a trade and was sublime.

How much? Regular pricing? We have a store in AZ that held the bottles to release at a later date and once they did/were forced to by the distributor, they're charging between $20 and $30 for them now.
