I think 2009 was my favorite vintage ever. Drank mine in mid 2011 and still haven't had a Sisy near that good. 2011 was probably my favorite fresh.

For Austin folks: Keep an eye on Whip In's cellar release on November 29. No Sisyphus bottles, alas. They haven't listed the taps yet, though, and for past cellar releases they've often had an old Sisyphus on tap. Might even be an 09, since that's when the other bottles are from.

The 2008 I had last Christmas was great...it was much better than the more recent additions. Hoping it the oh her hit the sweet spot around 4 years as well.

I might actually go pick up that Cruisin with Ruben & The Jets... I've got a bunch of older Lagunitas releases and that's one I'm missing.

Those prices are quite a rip-off though. I think that was originally at $4 bottle, lol.

That was 1.5 years ago or so when they cleared a ton out of the cellar or the distributor. it was pretty awesome. Woulda grabbed more if I had realized the "deal." Used to be able to get 2-3 years at the Liquor store in Blanco, but last time I looked it was gone.

Dipak likes to tease me with those Sissy kegs he has hidden down there all the time.

Over the summer Whip In dropped a 2007 keg. Fantastic. Suprisingly hoppy, too.

Sisyphus is easily the most underappreciated beer in all of Texas. It's also among the best produced in the state. The combination at least makes it easy for those of us who love it to find it. No driving from store to store on a release date.

This year was the first time it made it down here. There is still a ton left at the specs here.

    Just to be clear: 2013

Did you ever find any? I have a store near me in DFW that has some 2012 left. Picked one up 2 days ago.

I found a few at the Gateway Whole Foods the day I started this thread. Sent one out as an extra and got one for myself.
