I recently found a 2011 bottle of Smuttynose S'muttonator at a local bottle shop. It was tucked away and pretty dusty but the place is super cold year round. Any ideas of how it might have held up?

Go for it. Bell's Consecrator at a year is one of my favorite beers. Dopplebocks do fine as long as they're high ABV.

I had a 2010 about 3 or 4 months ago... it was fantastic. ...and imo could of went another few years... I found a second 2010 but I'm trading it to a trade friend in CA who also loves dopplebocks....

I really enjoyed it. I thought it could have gone longer as well, but definitely worth the 6$ I picked it up for.

I had the 2010 Barleywine last night. It was good. Better than fresh. The Wheatwine holds up exceedingly well. I'd give it a go. Pre aged beer woo!
