2011 Stone Double Bastard

    I was at a local store today and saw that they had about 5 bottles of 2011 Stone DB at 8.99ea. I've never aged them so not sure if they are good or not. Worth it?

    I would for sure pick at least 2 up. Were they in the fridge or on a shelf?

    3 in the fridge and 2 on the shelf.

    I've had one with about a year, and one with about 18 months. I liked them both better than fresh. Fresh is too hot for me. After a while the alcohol seems to cool. The hops fade a little, but still tasty nonetheless. I have a 2011 in my fridge right now for later this week. I'd definitely grab one or two.

    I just drank one of my 2011. Good stuff. Ages well.

    Thanks guys. I'll have to get a couple. They also had last years Stone Russian Imperial Stout and this years Old Guardian.
