Good god what is going on here?

 

Guy at Apollo told me that Rochester got 8 cases. 1 bottle limit there at $13.99

 

Princetons sold out in less than 30 minutes.

Jesus, whats happening in this town? Had to STRUGGLE to find a single bottle. Last year I got 6 bottles no problem and a few more months later.

 

I was lucky enough to get one at Princetons, and one at MGM.

 

I found some FBS in a place I was not expecting. Was pleasantly surprised. If you're looking hit me up.

 

What a wonderfully small ( beer ) world we live in - Wally at Beerworks is a great guy - shared Dark Lord and BCBS, with them when I was there, can't wait to go out again !

 

6 bottles so far, bummed it isn't as easy to score this year.

 

0 for me this year I guess. Oh well, can't score them all I suppose...

Everyone is out. Northwest liquor has 6'ERS of Stone IPA, Levitation, & Pale tho. So tonight isn't a total bust.

 

I got one bottle at least, from Andy's Marktetplace this evening. It was the last bottle, and they had it in back which is unusual for them.

 

This is getting way fucking out of hand. Time to legalize weed, join Cannabis Advocate and listen to people bitch about how Super Silver Squirl doesn't live up to the hype.

 

walked in to Blue Max to buy some Abrasive to ship, and Jim goes "you want a beer???" which was a pretty silly question, even though I drink quite a bit of bourbon and rum, but I did think "that's an odd question" so then he asks "BoltCutter or Abyss?" so I say to myself, "Self, go with the barleywine" so instead of the Abyss, I got the Bolt Cutter. I applaud Jim by letting the small alotment go further, but it sucked to have to make the choice. By the way, the Ba that was there when I was, we should of introduced ourselves instead of give each other the "I think I know you" stare.

 

What is the mixture this year? (% wine, % bourbon, etc...)

 

According to the label, it's "6% aged in oak bourbon barrels, 11% aged in oak barrels, and 11% aged in oak wine barrels."

 

Barrel aged coffee weed. Only one case of plants per store.

 

I managed one of each. Looking for award to the abyss. Bolt cutter was great at GABF.
