Ok guys...I'm hoping I get some good Karma here and someone can help me out! :sunglasses:

You can order some here if you live in California (or have a CA shipping address):

    http://www.bevmo.com/Shop/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=33457

Bit of a long shot but: If you buy some, I'd appreciate if someone could pick me up a couple of bottles and ship them to Arizona. I live in Canada but my work is in Marana,AZ so if you can ship them to my work they'll wait there until I visit in the fall. I'll of course cover price of beers and shipping. I'd send a thank you bottle of something as well if I could, but you wouldn't believe the cost of shipping from Canada to California on a bottle of beer (more than the cost of the beer usually!). :slight_frown:

    Thanks,
    Ted

I don't get the hoarding of this beer. Age has done nothing to improve the first two batches.

Parabola at a game is just too good. All hail the Public House entrance to the stadium.

Walnut Creek Bevmo (as of this morning) has a few cases near the front of the store and 8 or so in the Firestone Walker beer section. $15.99 a pop with no limits.

BevMo Redwood City had about a case left when I was there around 6. San Mateo has some too.

CBS popped their keg this afternoon ($7/7oz pour) and were selling a case and a half of their 3 cases, the rest of which will end up in the pricey "drink on premises only" cooler.

If there's anyone still looking, Bevmo in Burlingame is showing 18 in stock and their inventory is usually pretty up-to-date.

so Beer revolution selling it for $6 for 10 oz, and $12.99 a bottle was a mistake it seems.
    sheesh...............

Not a mistake, just even more reason for us to come enjoy all that you have to offer.

At Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa! They had a little over 3 cases on the floor. Get some before I cash out my 401k and snatch it all up.

Anyone know where to find a few bottles in San Jose? New to the brew game but loving every second of it.

You might find some if you look around carefully, but Parabola (which is a once-a-year release in the spring) has been off the shelf around here for weeks now. Its surprising these bonus cases showed up at the Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, when the first shipment came in they didn't bother putting them on the floor and there was a bottle limit per customer. Guess the demand wasn't quite as high as they had expected.

If you can't find any in stores near you, you could take a swing at setting up a trade for one on the Trading (ISO:FT) Forum. If you do decide to try trading, I recommend reading AleWatcher's Guide for New Traders first. Alternately if you just want to try some really excellent Imperial Stouts you can take a look around for other highly rated ones in your local stores. Some things worth trying if you see them (in my opinion) are AleSmith Speedway Stout, North Coast Old Rasputin, Ballast Point Sea Monster, Stone Imperial Russian Stout, and Nectar Ales Black Xantus. All of which are on the shelves around here either year round or at certain points in the year. Good luck!

P.S. - I don't know how badly you want to try Parabola, but you could always drive up here and get some from Bottle Barn yourself. If you do, I'd call ahead to make sure they still have them and maybe see if they'll put a few aside for you.

Thanks Sunhunter, I'll be sure to give your recommendations a try. If anything I can wait until next year for the Parabola, no need to try every great beer in my first year into craft brews.
