2012 Bitches Brew

Picked up 2 bottles today at TW in Sarasota....

 

Had it on draft at the brewpub in Rehoboth last week. It's fantastic, again. Gonna grab some bottles in NY for sure.

 

It has landed in Philadelphia.

 

Seen in two shops in Norcal. Can't wait to try it.

 

Was just about to post the same thing. I picked up a few bottles at the Craft Beer Outlet today. They still had quite a few left on the shelves

 

All over MD now, the shop I work at managed 2 cases so I assume the bigger stores got 2 or more if they wanted as well. Snagged 2 bottles, I'll probably end up with 3. Loved it last year.​

 

Just grabbed the very last two in Seaford, NY. $15 each. Been looking forward to this brew for a while......my first Bitch ever.

 

Hooray for shitty distributors! They cause most of the issues here in AZ. Both of the big ones are based in Phoenix so they get all the good beer and send it to all their buddies in Phoenix then all of us down in Tucson gets their scraps. Distributors suck.

Got this in Pittsburgh today for $15. That's a lot of money for a single bottle.

I had batch two (2010) at the one year mark and it was really mediocre. Lost that great sweetness and the herbal (gesho?) notes were making the beer seem almost savory. Probably the only non-hoppy DFH beer that I would advocate to not age and drink super fresh.

 

This is just an amazing beer. I love it!

 

I just picked some up in Fort Worth today... It was marked 14.99, but my aunt hooked me up so I got it for 11 dollars a bottle.

 

Nice, dig the background I think I will crack mine open tomorrow, well I guess I should say today now.....

I've been visiting different local spots each day keeping an eye out for this so I don't miss it. I can't wait to have this side by side with my 2011.
