I wasn't sure if Double DBA had made its way to Chicago yet, but I walked into a store today to find some of these on the shelf without a box. The guy at the shop says they just got them in today but it says 2012 and the bottle date is 6/14/12. Can anyone with a 2013 version post a picture of your label?

This is 2012 for sure, I have 3 in my cellar. Don't even think 2013 has hit shelves yet.

2013 isn't out yet. It's 2012. Same thing happened by me in NorCal today -- picked up two extra to set back with the one I still have in box. Not sure where the boxes went. I was not all that surprised to see them, though -- the guy who does the ordering for the store they were at said their distributor had a bunch of double DBA still in stock, but had it labeled the same as the DBA so it was impossible to get the distributor to ship it... or something like that. He'd mentioned making ongoing efforts to get them to ship it to his store; I guess he eventually succeeded.

Tell him he's full of shyte.
He may very well have just got them, but they're still a year old.
That being said, if they're less than $14, grab a couple. When I see them around, as I still do, I grab one. A solid beer all-around.

I just popped open my remaining bottle of it - much smoother than it was 6 months or so back.

Just confirming that 2013 is definitely out, had no problem picking up 6 in NorCal this past weekend. Not sure who you spoke to at the brewery, but the even had a release party a couple of weekends ago and bottles are available for purchase there as well.

And yes, there is still some 2012 out there as well, but the boxes and labels clearly state which is which, so you shouldn't have any problems telling them apart.

Thanks everybody! I thought I was right about it being 2012, but the guy in the shop was pretty indignant it was this year's because he just got it in.

a while back when this year's batch of Parabola was released I picked up 3 bottles at Perry's in Livermore. They had just come out and they were keeping the initial shipment in the back. Guy went back and grabbed me 3, 2 said 2013 and one said 2012. Guy swore they came from the same case. Who knows.

He may have got them today from the distributor, but as you can see, it says No.001 2012 on the label. That's the first release, in 2012  This years will be No. 002 2013.

    Cheers
