Arrived close to opening. Andy and Alicia greeted us with fresh Doughnuts and coffee, very cool.

Got in and got our tickets at 11, and enjoyed lunch, as well as se Brandy Bart and Brandy Old Conundrum. Ph, got some BaRT bottles too. Also met some cool new people. Great time.

Not really. Just about my car (4 people) and 2 others. We all just hungout sitting in the patio area drinking coffee, talking about beer. It was probably the greatest "line" wait I have ever been a part of waiting for anything beer related. It was also a very, very nice day yesterday.

The wife and I should make it after all thanks to 2 buddies who won tickets and offered us the extras. Can't wait!

Struck out on the lottery, but fortunately a buddy secured some tickets for me on Sunday morning. Very much looking forward to it!

Also looking for 1 extra. Got mine, but a truly good beer person is looking for another as well. If there are 2 available, would be happy to split with Kev Sal.

this sucks.... the size of the party was great but maybe they should do some sort of first right of refusal going forward. It was a great group of guys.

i'm not one to praise 50/50 needlessly, but this is a remarkably well-handled situation. demand > supply, so they tiered the tickets into groups for diehards, spillover, and locals.

meaning if only 50 people had applied the first day, they'd be the ones who really wanted tickets, and they would have gotten them - their reward for being first in line. anyone thereafter would be treated fairly via the lottery system. it looks like it went into lottery the first day, but that's irrelevant. the plan was in place.

and they appear to have sold tickets at the brewery for locals to drive up and get them. according to abel, there wasn't much of a line, either.

i can't think of a better way to handle this and make it 'fair.' this handling is right in line with something i can respect: take care of your diehards and your locals first. it's too bad there are just more diehards than tickets. can't please everyone.

also, obligatory because it's me: the real lottery is when you open a bottle of eclipse lolololol
