Well it was made available in other markets yesterday, so it at least stands to reason that it's probably not too early to wonder when it may be here.

It hit distro yesterday. Texas should have it in a week or two. I've noticed we get Stone limited releases a bit later than some other markets.

Good. I'll set it aside with my 2011 bottle.

Awesome! It will pair well with all the dusty bottles of 2011.

I was told by a reliable source that it landed in Dallas yesterday and will hit shelves tomorrow the 19th. Be on the look out.

Isn't it extremely price friendly, especially considering the high ratings? I picked up two for cellaring a while back and don't think I paid more than $6-$8 each.

I've been wrong before, but I seriously doubt that. Stone beers being available on TX shelves 3 days after it's own market gets them... yeah, no. I'm willing to bet they're not even TABC approved yet.

I have never seen a release from outside of the state land on shelves on release day, let alone during the same week....

Last year in early June I remember Blvd tweeting that Saison Brett would hit K.C. shelves next week and other markets soon after. That same day I saw bottles being put out at Specs. That is probably the only instance that I recall.

Boulevard's distribution in Texas is amazing. Much kudos to whoever works that relationship so very well for us!

Ditto. Stone in particular seems to take a while to get down here. But yes, most out-of-state releases tend to take at least a week.

The only reason it needed to be label approved recently is because Stone changed the packaging on it after a 10 year run using the same packaging.

Has Stone changed the packaging yet again? I would be shocked if they changed it after only 1 or 2 years in the new bottles. If so, then yes we will need to see label approval again for this beer. If not, then it does not need new TABC approval year after year.

I imagine we will see it any day now though.
