just picked up a bottle of said beer on the word of a couple of people. awesome smell........so i open it it, take a big sniff and WTF? on further inspection i read 2011 challinger hops. did i just buy a year old sub par( so said people told me) beer for $8.00?
Yup. Pretty sure 2012 hasn't been released in most markets, but it's Citra. I talked to a distributor in Gainesville a couple of weeks ago and the 2012 batch should be out soon. Sorry dude!
Yeah, 2012 just hit Tuscaloosa yesterday and I popped one open last night. Might be the best smelling beer I've ever had. The taste is fine, just somewhat lacking compared to the super awesome citra nose.
I've had the 2012, it is awesome. I am loving Terrapin right now. So Fresh, Moo-Hoo, Liquid Bliss and oaken Big Hoppy Monster are all available.
That's a bummer you mistakenly got fresh stuff Terry, but hold off because when you get this year's stuff it will be worth it!
Yeah, 2012 is hitting most places now, with Citra Hops. I'm not a hoppy beer fan, but I enjoyed this year's So Fresh and So Green, Green.
