I thought it was good. Not great, and certainly not as good as Bomb, but still one of the better barrel-aged beers to come out of this state.

Bomb is better and way more complex, it is better than Noir though. I do love BBA Temptress though, one of the silkiest BA stouts I have had.

When I had this years batch for the first time, I actually questioned the bartender as to if it was just regular Temptress. I thought last years batch was more bourbony and the barrel more pronounced, but very very subtle this year. According the the Lakewood rep I spoke to last night, it was very inconsistent last year and that is why it's different. Take that for what it is, but it's still the one of the best (and few) BBA made in DFW.

Too many absolutes. To YOU Bomb is better. I quite enjoyed Noir. Quite a bit more than bomb in my opinion.

I find so many people saying Bomb is so complex. I get chocolate chocolate and more chocolate with a hint of coffee from pink wax. Gold wax was all coffee to me. Blue/Red wax has had the best overall flavor, but still falls way short of Abraxas or Huna. All opinion though obviously.
