This made me wonder; which party do people consider the best in terms of tap list...Initiation Party, BT Party, or Barrel Party?

Next year will be my third year in the RS and I am most likely going to be making it out to the Bruery for the first time, and am going to plan my trip around one of these parties.

Personally while I love BT and its variants, I'd rather see a more diverse tap list style-wise, and some things they have retired/don't normally bottle. I'm thinking the Initiation Party would be best for that?

Compare the tap lists from last year:

On here at least, the biggest Reserve Society criticism seems to be the extremely poor scheduling of events. Over the course of 12 months, 2 of the 3 biggest Reserve Society events are within 2 weeks of each other.

The google doc is from the barrel party, I forget which BA'er created that splendid list.

I'm pretty sure the gripe was more about events being announced a week or two before they were last year, not that they weren't spread out enough. Last years barrel party was pretty close to the BT party, it's the way it has to be given that BT has a specific day in Oct and the barrel party is kinda like a "holiday party"

I get ya, I phrased it as "scheduling" not proximity because of those last minute parties. Very frustrating IMO.

Not to mention one being the first weekend of SDBW and the other being immediately after. I haven't done one Bruery event so far this year, and it doesn't look like that will change.

The timing might not be a coincidence with them trying to piggyback off people coming into town for SDBW.

So is there an exact location for this yet?
We're only 1.5 weeks out from the fest, and our group may want to get a hotel near the location.

    Tap list?
    anything?

Googling 3rd St. Anaheim brings me in between two warehouses miles from downtown Anaheim.
    https://www.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&authuser=0&q=3rd street, anaheim&aq=&vps=1&jsv=468d&sll=37.269174,-119.306607&sspn=9.454681,14.743652&vpsrc=3&t=h&ie=UTF8&ct=clnk&cd=1&spell=1

I did not, but I don't get RS/HS emails, so that's probably why.
