I enjoy CW BBS just as much as BCBS. I enjoyed it as much a Black Note. I enjoyed it as much as KBS. It is right up there with my best imo. It is significantly better than Dragon's Milk as well.

But that just, like, my opinion man.

I agree, especially that it is much better than dragons milk lol

I should probably go buy a 4pk, even though I have some much other beer to drink. I bought over a case of it last year. I think I would rather buy more PM.

Rio - seen the BW locally yet? It's in IL already so it should be here but I've yet to run across it

No. I think it is going to be like the Coffeehouse stout. That was in IL, and northern WI weeks before it was in Madison. I'll be skipping it since they went to bomber format.

RiO, I know you are a "local" beer guy...

I too am annoyed with CW for going bomber on these guys...but damn, the Y2K may be the best straight BW in the midwest. if not beyond. Gotta grab some!

Did the Y2K go to bombers, or the bourbon barrel barleywine, or both?

I know Y2K is now in bombers. I hope that PM and BBBW stay in 4pks.

Grabbed two four packs last week and had my first bbs from central waters, I really liked it a lot.

I too like CW BBS much better than Dragons milk.

If they take BBBW out of 4-packs I am quitting beer. You hear me Central Waters!??! (where is the little emoji shaking his fists angrily at nothing?)

Hopefully with Y2K going into bombers we will still see some here in Chicago. Was only able to get a single 12oz bottle last year, so if I can make that a bomber this year, I'll live with the unfortunate format change.

Didn't know Y2K was in bombers now, that is disappointing to hear.

I find bombers easier to age, so I can understand this move. Pretty sure they'll keep the barrel-aged stuff in 12 oz's.

Today I opened a BBS and had an immediate coffee taste and it twas thinner than I am used to....I was a quite befuddled. I finished off a complete case of bbs deliciousness with no complaints. I opened my second case and the first two beers I have tried have been...off. Any others out there? BBS is my favorite beer...Me thinks the 2014 BBBW shall be my new favorite if this "off" trend continues...The 2014 BBBW is delish as always for those whom have not had yet.

I can personally attest that 2014 BBBW is 12oz/ 4pk format....and it is more awesome than ever!!!!
