Just picked up this bottle in a trade and was wondering if I could sit in it for a little longer. I'm afraid the hazelnut will drop off though. Anyone have any experience with this one?

IF you've never tasted it you should open it and experience it. You may not like it now!, none the less a year or two or three from now. However, at least if you open it now you can make a choice as to whether to obtain another one to see if it gets better or to see how it changes or you can make the decision not to get another one.

Open it and enjoy, that's what these beers are for. And, please, remember that almost all brewers release a beer when they think it's ready to drink.

Tell you what, if you open it and you're sorry, just contact me and I'll pull one from my cellar for you at $4$ cost trade. BUT, if you want another one from me you're going to have to tell me why you want another and promise not to trade or sell it - it will be for you to try again at some time in the future.

Not sure if you drank it already - but if you haven't - do it!
Grey Monday is one of the best stouts out there. I haven't had it with more than a year on it and don't know if any of its nutty flavors would fade, I'd drink it now.
    Cheers
