Saw a few doing Verts At $80/bottle, it was a lot more manageable. I'd love to hear feedback. Some guys were telling me the 07 and 08 were so so. A friend shared 09 with me which was really great. Tomme was there too and I told him that other than the IT glitch, I liked how they ran the DDG release. He was emphatic that the tech issue wouldn't happen again. Seems like a perfectly affable guy. I will still chuckle at the comics though.

 

08 was ok, 07 was fantastic!

 

So rather then calling are there still bottles to go? Never mind just called said sold out in 1/2 hour.

I saw ~4 cases worth of '13 bottles. I'm sure there was more than that. I don't know how many were consumed on premise.

A good sour that will no doubt trade for far better beer simply because of artificial hype. My ten bucks was better spent on Keene Idea and Hoppy Birthday.

 

I wouldn't exactly call the hype artificial as it has been released every year for the past 7 years and many people have had a chance to try it, but your main point is correct; totally not worth it.

 

I overheard toro sf say 17 cases received and they're holding 10 of the 17 cases for future use.

 

So who laid out those bones for the izzy?

 

Just got off a plane at SFO, anyone know if bottles are gone yet?

 

They sold out of today's allocation in like 10-15 minutes. More like 5 minutes at the bar, but maybe 10 in the backroom.

 

Bottles were gone 5 hours ago.

 

'07 was fantastic. I really loved it. '08 was good. I actually thought '13 was too funky for my tastes, but I wonder how it'll hold up with age...
