2013 Marshal Zhukov

Hit distribution last week I believe. So more than likely it will be on the shelves sometime this week.

 

It hit TW in Orlando, but the 5 cases were gone in a day. It was limited to one per person.

 

Just had this on tap at the brewery yesterday. Would love to get a bottle of this.

 

One bottle per person or one case?

 

One bottle... I went at lunch on Friday as they were rolling up the cases. Dumb luck because I was looking for Good Gourd which they don't even think they'll be getting at this point. CCB is pretty much only distributing the seasonals in mass inthe Tampa area, at least that's the vibe the manager of TW gave me. Went back yesterday thinking there would be more left and they were sold out already as mentioned above.

 

One bottle per person.

 

Called Leuken's today and was told it would be in stock at the end of the month. I was told at the brewery they were making more and to expect it in a few weeks so it all lines up. I can't believe the hype around it now, last year's batch lasted on shelves until February and even into March a little.

 

Whole Foods on Sand Lake had a good bit of Good Gourd as of Friday at lunch

 

In Orlando last year, Zhukov lasted a few days in stores near me. I do recall Zhukov had no bottle count last year at TW, but that has now changed.

 

Yep, I remember seeing in excess of a dozen cases of Zhukov there on the floor alone. The beer guy, Jimmy, always has vintages of Zhukov he holds back as well to sell for special occasions.

I actually grabbed a bottle the week following Hunahpu day at the Total Wine by Countryside Mall.

 

They released a few cases for Tampa Bay Beer week.

 

Haven't seen any in Miami. I wonder if I'll get any this year. I only got one bottle last year...

 

It started rolling out in Orlando on Friday. Only a few ABC stores got it. I was lucky enough to get 2. Both TW here in Orlando said they should get it with their Brown delivery this week.

Brown is holding on to Good Gourd in Orlando for a few weeks. At least that is what the rep told me.

 

The Marshal is delicious as always. I may have even enjoyed it more than Poonapu this year *gasp* although some extensive A/B research is needed before confirmation.

 

Tampa total wine got today with limit of 2 per person.
