    With the entry process beginning today, what are people planning on entering? This is my first time entering the NHC, and I plan to register seven beers:

    16A: Witbier that is moderately-low on the spices and utilizes a bit of acidity.
    16C: Saison with Calypso hops.
    16E: Blonde saison aged on red wine oak cubes and aged with Lactobacillus and Brettanomyces
    17A: Berliner Weisse made utilizing a sour mash
    17E: Blonde sour ale
    20: Raspberry lime Berliner Weisse
    22C: Imperial stout blended with imperial stout aged in a whiskey barrel.

    going to reserve some spots and decide in a couple weeks as some things are still lagering - registration will fill up fast, and you have to pay within 24 hours, but you can edit your entries up until March 15th, just in case anyone is wondering.
    Tentative plan is 2A, 4C, 6C, 7C, 13E, 14B or 14C, plus a mead and a cider...but I've got at least that many others that may get subbed in if some of these disappoint. Really trying to limit myself to 8 and keep it under $100.

    I plan on going through the 5 lagers I have that will be ready by 3/15 and enter the best 4. One ale, one cider.

    It will fill up fairly quick. Don't wait too long.

    Not sure what I'll be submitting yet, but probably mostly sours. Might give a couple of my strong barrel-aged beers a go as well.

    Entering a couple:

    English Mild [11A], Milk Stout [13B], IPA [14B], Weizen [15A], Flanders Red Fermented in Cabernet Barrels [17B], Black IPA w/ Peaches [20], Imperial Milk Stout w/ Vanilla Beans and Chai Spices [21A], Imperial Red Ale w/ Rye & AU/NZ/US hops [23]

    Will be stoked if anything makes it through.

    I haven't seen anything yet. I've been curious how the link process is going to work. Figured I'd just refresh the 2013 NHC page right at 3:00 Eastern.

    Not entering this year. Have had too much going on to properly plan for it. Bringing the heat next year, if all goes as planned, though. :wink:

    Haha, yes, same issue here. I got registered for my site very easily, but now get a "503 Service Unavailable" error whenever I try to add an entry.

    I got as far as creating a profile. Keeps timing out when I try to add an entry. Eesh ...

    Also getting 503 errors trying to add an entry. Guess we'll all just keep hammering their server!
