This stuff hit the tap room today, and I went right after work to grab a growler. I couldn't wait any longer for it. I just want to see if anyone else has had a chance to sample this yet in 2013 and get some thoughts. It seems to be a bit thinner, but a bit more boozy than I remember. I''m actually just a little disappointed this year. Maybe I'll try the bottles when they come out next week to see if that matches up. I feel like 2012 Pumpkin Ale was among the best I have had from Schlafly.

Who knows. Maybe I was just way too amped for it this year.

The beer at the taproom will be different than the production batches at bottleworks, same recipe, different equipment and brewers. Correct me if I'm wrong

As a homebrewer, this makes sense to me. I'll just have to experiment to test the theory... not complaining. Even less than stella Schlafly Pumpkin Ale is better than most.

If there's any brewery that could get me to buy a pumpkin beer in early August, it is Schlafly. Looking forward to this year's release.

I have had multiple beers there that tasted different than memory from bottle or bottleworks draft, not in a bad way or anything but noticeable

I think I might have a 2010 pumpkin ale after work in celebration of the new release
