Lake Wine & Spirits posted an hour ago they had Wet - 2 4pk limit.

 

Ale Jail just tweeted that it's in. 1 four pack/person.

 

Would anyone be willing to pick a few of these up for me and I'll grab it from you Friday? I'll not only pay you what you paid but sweeten the deal with some free beer. (details can be worked out later) BM me please!! I already spent all day Tuesday driving around the TC area before heading home to SD with my head between my legs.

 

What does everyone think? It's good, but not as good as previous years. I like centennial but other hop varieties added to the mix would have made it better.

 

Just dropped at Perrier Wines & Liquors on Grand Avenue, St. Paul. No limits mentioned.

 

I can bring back tasties from Arizona (going to Sun Devil Liquor today and hope to get some delicious stuff). Bummed I'm probably going to miss out on Wet this year, last year's blew my mind bones.

 

Definitely not as good as last year. More on par with 2011.

 

Picked mine up at Booze Mart in West St. Paul. Limit 1 and going fast!

 

On a semi- related note. I know brau brothers is transitioning, any word on when 100 yard dash is expected?

 

Or another tasty alternative -Founders Harvest?

2013 Wet little aroma no citrus taste super dry. More like a lager. Big waste of money not worth it at all. Not like the last two years which were great

 

I have no other year to compare it to and frankly I liked it's fresh chlorophyll/grassy taste behind the light piney and citrusy hop flavor.

You know, it tastes exactly as a Cascade/Centennial fresh hop ale should taste. I find commentary like the one above a bit silly. Did you expect this year's hop concentration to magically taste like Citra or Simcoe? From one BA to another: broaden your hop profile appreciation and you will revel in many a glass of nectar. I dare ya!

 

But if we do that, then how can we come on here to complain about delicious beer??

 

For those of us not joining in on this chase Town Hall Lanes is having a Fresh Hop Fest on October 19th form 2-9pm with 20 fresh hop beers.
