Yes. Yes we will. I'll send you a text if plans start forming.
I must trade for some this year!
So... Who's shipping me a few four packs?
This might be hard to get. Need to get a case to send to friends around the USA. Hopefully I can enjoy a couple cans.
If last year is any indication this won't be hard to get. At all.
They are making half the amount they did last year.
Really? Wow. Where did you read this?
Todd via Twitter has confirmed they are making less. It has also been confirmed they are using half as much hops as last year. Fair to infer they are making half as much. I wish it weren't so.
Page one of this thread
We asked people at the brewery the day after the brewing started (you could still smell the hops through the door). Half the size this year, different hop blend.
While I am amped for the 16th (when its supposed to be out), ill wait to see if i like the new hop choice.
Does anyone know if France44 will be selling this? Or anyone able to ship some?
Because nobody has ever tried a Centennial/Cascade beer before.
As a fresh hop though?
I bet I have as common as they are, but I couldn't say.
Northern Hemisphere Harvest Ale?
I know Lift Bridge Harvestor uses Cascade.
I know last years Two Brothers Heavy Handed used Centennial.
Most breweries don't disclose, and I think it changes (depending on availability) every year for most.
I'm sure you are right because of how regular those hops are used.
Didn't they use 100% citra last year? If i remember correctly... that was fantastic. But i like citra hops quite a bit,
I think it was Simcoe and Citra, which is a deadly combo.
last year was all simcoe, year before was all citra, year prior to that was citra/simcoe.
Thanks for the clarification!
It was Simcoe for 2012, and 2011 was Citra.
Super pumped for this, 2011>2012, but 2012 was freaking delicious in it's own right. Went through 3-4 four packs just myself last year.
This beer sounds great!! I wonder how far from the Twin Cities it will get?
I found some in Rochester, MN last year, but it was like 2 months after, Like others said, the first round flys then it sits around for a bit, at $17 a pack, it keeps some people away.
I know last year they had a very limited amount that they sold and it was gone instantly. Don't think they sold a second batch but I could be wrong.
monday is so close, yet so far.
how many you want?
I drank so much last year. I don't think there is a better wet hopped beer on spaceship earth.
Oh man, I love this beer. Merwins isn't shipping to PA anymore. Anyone looking to trade 2-4packs??? ISO!
Anyone want a bunch of schlafly pumpkin for some wet?
What are the chances I can find some Wet around Sept 27-28? Does anyone know if it will be available in the tap room?
Last year the 1st shipment to stores went within almost a day or two. The 2nd shipment tended to sit around shelves for a while (some places for months). However, with this years batch being half the size, i dont expect their being a 2nd shipment. I would have someone buy it for you and hold it for you until you come on the 27-28th
Try xmnwildx12, he is a pumpkin beer freak
If anyone from Roch needs a few 4's, let me know by Monday morning. I'm makin the roadie to the TC metro to grab a few for myself.
Interested in a trade?
I'd take a 4 pack of Wet and Surlyfest if you can find it.
I was told its been canned, and the distributor picked it up already. So should be showing up in stores whenever they get their regular weekly deliveries.
Stopped by Liquor Barrel in SLP. The guy said Wet will be in Tuesday the 17th with a 2, 4-pack limit. Only getting 6 cases and that will be all they get this year. So I imagine it will all be gone in the TCs by the weekend.
You got it.
Who gets Monday distribution? I'll be a huntin.
Surlyfest will hit stores Monday, Sept. 23rd...the monday AFTER Surlyfest.
I only want a can or a second if I like this one. Doubt I will even get to try it this year. Oh well.
