I was just in there again with my brother so he could get a pack and they were on their last case, I believe. So at best they have three four packs left.

It was one 4 pack right now, not no limit. Usually goes to no limit after the first wave through town and sits on shelves.

 

I realized that I was wrong as soon as I posted it and left the computer. You're correct.

 

In all fairness, they should stop hyping the shit out of everything they get. They get all the same crap Greens and TW and even the smaller shops around town get.

There's always, 2, 3, and even 4 waves of Backwoods that hit the metro area. It eventually sits on the shelf, in 4 packs, in most of the larger stores.

So yes.. should be no limit, but unfortunately, they do that crap for some releases, and the real limited ones, they don't. It's odd.

I just moved to Atlanta from Savannah. I've been to Green's on Buford. For future reference, what are some other good shops around town?

 

Haven't seen it in Akron yet. Checked Acme tonight.

 

Bestway in GSO was still sitting on some tonight, not sure how much but they didn't have any limits as far as I can tell. $12.75.

 

I know a place that's got a 1/2 barrel for $439.99 if anyone wants that much. lol

 

Word on the street around here is shipments come today in the Akron/Wads/Woo area. My local place is supposed to get 2 cases... we shall see.

 

It was released 10/31 and sold out 11/3. They were closed Sunday so it technically sold out in slightly less than 3 days. I'm guessing the dozen states they added to distro in the last year thinned out the source a bit.

 

I prefer Greens on Ponce myself, but I used to live in ViHi, so there's that.

HopCity is okay, fun to browse, not so much for anything limited or hyped/popular. It's a nice store though, just don't expect to score limited things, unless you don't work after 2-3PM, and have the desire to stand in line.

Greens on Ponce will usually have Backwoods on the shelf, the first release is usually 1 -4 pack, but it depends on how much they get the first go around.

Whole Foods sometimes has some gems, even on draft. Check out the one across from the Ponce Market.

 

Greens on Buford is my regular shop. They do a great job of managing their twitter account so you know when stuff hits and they have eased off the timed releases so I like that. It has been a minute since I have been to the Ponce location, but that one always had something that buford didnt.

 

Have confirmed delivery of the Bastard.. picking some up in 90min

Talked to some stores around Ann Arbor and they said their shipments get in 11/06. Managed to pick some up from Whole Foods though!

 

Hitting stores in SE Mighigan, north of Detroit pretty hard today.
