2014 Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad (BBQ)

    According to the release information, Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad (BBQ) was released earlier this week. Has anybody had the opportunity to try this year's version yet and would care to comment? It's one of my very favorite beers, so I hope to see it in my market soon.

    According to it, this year's version is a little more cherry-forward this year. Fascinating.

    Georgia usually gets a good, if limited, distribution @halo3one. BBBQ usually lasts a few weeks on most shelves, so hopefully you won't have too much difficulty finding it.

    Had a bottle just a couple evenings ago at a Boulevard event in SE PA. Came across as being extremely boozy. Didn't enjoy it as much as past iterations. Perhaps it needs to lay down for a bit.

    Funny - I was just getting ready to post that I ran across this at a Sam's Club yesterday - selling a 3 pack including the 2014 BBQ, Sixth Glass Quad, and Tank 7 - all 750ml bottles, for $22. Not bad!!

    Depends on whether you're including the brewer name or not. Either BBQ (Bourbon Barrel Quad) or BBBQ (Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad). I think it's listed in BA as Boulevard BBQ.

    Very excited for this BLVD's best beer. Let this one sleep in the cellar for a few years, and your patience will be rewarded. I still can't believe this beer is not in the top 250.
