    Kind of a double standard you're having there - don't you think?
    I have announced the the arrival of great beer, without mention of any prices, while you need to come along and say your's is half the price... So do tell me, did you not understand the post title, or did you just malisiously post you comment to continue your personal crusade against me?

    All I am saying is, when I first logged in to this forum I didn't expect, nor desire, nor need to read about what color wax is on a $40 single bottle of beer. This is not a commercial forum so please don't start threads that try to turn me into your customer by pretending to be my friend by 'helping' me learn about wax colors.

    Thanks Christian in case anyone missed it very expensive bottles of 50/50 Eclipse en route. There might be less expensive barrel aged Russian Imperial Stouts available in the province but by Christian's rules I may start a new thread.

    I never pretended nor try to pretend to be your "friend" here in the forum. Unlike others here, I don' hide behind an avatar, I use my real name. I import beer, sell beer, that's what I do, and I believe I do that rather successful, and that's what everyone can know - and many do know that.

    I'm using this forum (and others) to advise people of what rare beers are coming to Western Canada, I don't post all our other beer releases here, and never would, this would exceed the forum. I purposly did not post a price in my post, I would never post prices here, as I don't set the final retail prices. If other users post retail prices here, well, there's not much I (or anyone else) can do about that.

    However, to forum users who are interested in these rare releases (from any importer) these info's about the wax colours can be quite relevant and important - that is the purpose of any forum - to share information and to receive information that a user would like to stay informed about.

    Easy there guys.

    As a consumer, I'm happy to see new or returning highly acclaimed beers that are making their way to Alberta posted on here (even if they happen to the more expensive).

    Likewise, I'm happy to see a heads up of a competitively priced similar style beer posted here (even if it's not directly related to the thread at hand).

    There's room for all of this and it can easily be done without the back and forth bickering. Nobody wants to see the craft community degenerate into that.

    Maybe I need a drink, but...what exactly was wrong with mentioning the BA 3M porter? Can someone please explain? If I offer suggestions of lower priced (I think the Eclipse pricing is a bit outrageous for what it is, but that's just IMHO) comparable beers will I get jumped on to?

    Yes you will by Christian. For the record the price wasn't pointed out me as to the rest there is Les Trois Mousquetaires Double Barrel aged Porter Baltic on the shelves in Alberta for the first time and it goes for around $17. I agree you with the getting jumped on about the mentioning the beer. Who cares what the title of the thread his.

    While I don't entirely disagree with what WW is saying, I appreciate Christian posting about his upcoming releases, just as I would appreciate hoser doing the same without the constant threadshitting.

    You have asked if I'm not able to sell beer - i responded to your question, that I have advised customers about the wax colour, not the price, nor where in what store itll be available that's what forum's are about, or not? If you don't like that - well, don't read it.

    I did not use the forum for that - i advised of the beers that are coming in (which will sell regardless if I post wax colours here or not) and which barrel has which wax color, so that interested people are informed.

    what does that have to do with me posting or not posting prices, which i shouldn't and I didn't...? are we (as a company) not allowed to make a profit? Only you as consumer should have a benefit?

    there is no error in packaging - what's your problem that I'll inform people that want to stay informed, which clearly isn't you, about upcoming beers?
