2014 KBS Glass

Do not like shape, or simplicity. Some folks have crapped all over 2013's but I think that was the best of the 3 to date. Only reason people may like the goblet/chalice pre-2013 is rarity.

 

Anyone have a picture? I don't see if for sale on Founders' website.

 

Its not for sale online, only at the brewery, currently.
It may become available online following the weekend. It did last year, as did the Sweet Repute glasses, etc.

Seems like Founders is buying a crapload to keep everyone happy.

 

I was thinking at least the KBS logo might be tan colored to match the label, but this pic clearly shows its just plain white. Kind of bland if you ask me. By the way, I did a google search for the glass, this pic is from a post on ebay, on sale now for only $32!!!

 

I emailed Founders yesterday, and reply back from them indicated that they would indeed be going up for sale online starting next week, not sure exact day.

 

I'm holding out until KBS comes in 16 oz. cans. Then I can drink right from the can to hold in all of those Kentucky bourbon flavors.

It even looks "thin"

 

It's about what you put in the glass that makes it great... But ya, disappointed.

 

The glass is made by Spiegelau, a very respected name is glassware, personally I believe the reputation has earned the benefit of the doubt. Yes, the glass is undoubtedly thin however I believe it is a very quality piece. I can understand complaints regarding the design but I think some are over-stating concerns about the glass itself.

 

It looks like the same glass in the Spiegelau set, the pilsner tulip just with kbs etching. It's my fave glass and yes thin but super durable.
