First off.. I am a Hawks/Hockey fan as well... I started going to games at the old stadium when i was 9 years old ... why any of this really matters is beyond me... i listen to the radio all the time and hear all of the die hard Blackhawk fans saying the same shit, bandwagon this, bandwagon that, do you want the place to be full for these games? Or empty with only die hards? ... so from my point of view there are really only about 4,000 "fans" total because in the late 90's and early 2000's i could walk up to the window and buy a 100 level ticket without a worry, and the place was damn near EMPTY. So i assume you and i were there together.

Second, i like our chances against both of those teams. The Kings are hurting again much like last year with injuries. Their style of play leads to that and they have had deep runs now 3 straight years. Anaheim is not as physical as LA and ill take our chances with the goalie turn-style they have going on out there, especially with the youngster in net. Anaheim is vulnerable on the back end and our vets will take advantage of that.

We really missed Shaw's net presence against the Wild. Our skill guys (Sharp especially) really got frustrated with the way the Wild forced the Hawks to play in neutral ice, chip and chase is not our style. It allowed their speed to show up and made us look slow. Cooke and Stoner were obvious when they were on the ice, and the Wild's forechecking was phenomenal. Lastly, our D-Men , all of them, let the Wild's speed kill them when they would pinch and get out of position, and it cost us in too many times (that damn Haila!). All that being said, we won the series in 6. The Hawks are now 11-2 in closeout games and 6-0 on the road with this current core group. Ill take that record every day of the week, it shows a battle tested team that knows how to stomp on the throat of an opponent when its time, something the Pens have no idea how to do, something that Anaheim only can dream of.

not really.. i tend to do most of my damage at bottle shops then have shares. if i do go out, it'll be to the city mostly.. sometimes bk too. (torst, barcade bk, rattle n hum, pony bar, etc)

Next up... @trojanshawn cause I sure are hell don't get it?!? Your goalie situation... You think you or I could suit up? Because we got a pretty good chance with the whole "White Elephant / grab bag /let's see what Santa brought you random selecting a starting goalie that your horrible coach Bruce Boudreau is pulling, yea let's their SCF chances ride on a 20 yr old rookie who didn't play one game in the regular season. Yea that's smart! Yet you have Hiller who for the most most part been stellar the past 2 seasons riding the pine and who's been there. Yeah let's bench a first ballot HOF Selanne again like we did last series...that'll get the boys thinking?!? He'll be fired in 2-3 like he was in WSH, stellar squad and doesn't know how to get them to win the big one. Your lucky your team plays in that horrible division they call the southwest or wherever it is, because the Kings are horrible on offense, but have a stellar D. If you play a team like the Hawks possibly in the next round...it's going to be a tougher challenge and short series maybe because the Hawks unlike the Kings can actually score!

With no hockey on last night I had no clue what to do with myself...Looking forward to tonight's matchup, @trojanshawn vs. @end_27 Game 7. All the marbles will be on the line. @belotj is standing by with pictures for either loser. I cannot say if I am more excited for the hockey game or the pictures....Going to be pretty hard to top the Crosby one. Cheers fellas, good luck to the remainder of the players.
