Well I suppose as a Hawks fan, overtime, game 7 is what you want to see. Congrats to the Kings. They played a tough series. I for one will be rooting for the Kings. We stole their thunder last year, so hopefully they can make a good run this year. Cheers to those of you left in the beer it forward @end_27 and @kingkevz may the two of you have a good series.

ugh, this wasnt the ideal matchup i wanted. i would have much rather faced crawford than quick. Alas, we're gonna have to shut down gabby (be the first ones to do so.. he didnt do much for us under torts, but i'm happy he found a place where he can thrive, but the thriving stops NOW.).

our D has to play the way they played in game 6. MTL didnt stand a chance.

get the puck on net and good things will happen.

i expect a VERY low scoring series.

@belotj as a fan and having them in the pool... that loss was devastating

 

I have no doubt about this. That must have been an emotional roller coaster of epic proportion over the last two games.

 

Well the good news is I advance to face @kingkevz in the BIF SCF with "MY" Kings advancing past my beloved Blackhawks last night! That really sucked, jump out to a 2-0 score and lead the game on 3 different occasions...yet lose?!? Boggles the mind. Guess the better team won, and we can officially call it a rivalry now that LA won the series this year, as opposed to last year WCF. I guess me having good mojo last night making a 5lbs smoked brisket & chicken, collard greens and corn bread for @TastyDelicousness @Lkoro @saemick and friends couldn't bring us a win! Oh well...good company good food and family, what more can I ask for?

Well the pro/con situation is do I get a 3 or 7 boxes of brews...not a bad predicament to be in

 

Hard pill to swallow all around. Good news is we can drown our sorrows with some good beers.

@carmike813 Where you at in IL? Rest of the IL boys on this thread are around the northern suburbs.(Mount Prospect, Northbrook, Wheeling and one city limit boy)

Perhaps we can meet up and I'll buy ya a few beers to help cope with the pain. Lord knows I need a few to make this go away. "It's kind of like bible camp, only without all the crying and wishing I was someplace else".
