2014 NOVA Brewfest, June 20 - 21, Leesburg

    Looks to be even better than last year.

    Nineteen (19) new breweries and ciders participating for the first time! Of those new participants, eight (8) are from Virginia: Adroit Theory, Champion, Crooked Run, Forge, Hardywood Park, Old Bust Head, Parkway and Winchester Cider Works.
    The other new participants are: Blackthorn Cider and Tennent's Lager from England, Distillery Lane Cider Works and Full Tilt Brewing from Maryland, Foot Hills Brewing & Natty Greene's Brewing from North Carolina, Perennial Artisan Ales from Missouri, Sweetwater Brewing from Georgia, Wyders Cider from Vermont and from Pennsylvania Yeungling Brewing and Saucony Creek Brewing.

    Looks like some pretty good breweries. Do they tend to bring their regular lineup, or some special releases?

    A little of both, but more to their standard fare. Some of these new breweries may surprise us. I've been 3 years now, awesome time every one. Good beer, good music, lines are not too bad.

    I've been wanting to do the bottle share for the last couple of times and always double booked. Dang it.

    Then let's make it a whopper of a share. And of course you will probably have it on Boy Scout camping weekend yet again. Any idea when you are thinking of?
