Two out of the three places I bought regular form last Friday sold it for $9.99 which seems about standard. I only saw one place that marked it up to 11.99. These are all in Lakewood/Littleton though...not downtown.

Also bought all mine for $9.99. And as far as 'how much is too much?' Hmmm...it's nice to have enough to crack one anytime you feel like it, so like 20?

I'm fairly new to the terrific beer world but I have definitely hit it hard this year. I ended up with 4 Barley Wine variants and about 6 regular BCBS. I really wanted a bottle of the coffee variant but struck out everywhere...

Long shot but does anyone know of any barleywine that can be found? I got a bottle on Black Friday and was surprised at how good it was.

    Just throwing it out there:
WOB Cherry Creek is doing '14, '15 BCBS on tap on NYE. They'll be selling bottles of Rare too, but Loyalty Members get first dibs.
As of now no other variants are advertised

Never got a Regal but its nice to know there is still something out there. Maybe I'll just pull out the phone book and start dialing tomorrow in hopes I get lucky. Cheers!

Ill be moving to Denver in February. I now have about 20 bottles of bcbs for trade and one bcbsbw. I have other local stuff as well. So if anyone struck out a lot, hit me up. Im looking for things i don't have that i can cellar for reference.

Didn't want to start a new thread:
But does anyone else find '15 a little weaker in scent and flavor than previous years?
I thought so after my first one, but thought maybe my memory was messing with me.
But I just followed '14 w/ '15 and I swear '15 is just weaker in flavor all the way around.

So you follow a 1-year aged beer with a "fresh" 15. I've had 4 BCBS's so far this year, and each time I'm pretty blown away.

Granted if its too cold, it will lose some flavor. I'd recommend aging a couple for a year to give it a fair comparison to 14.

I'm actually doing a flight of 13-15 mid-January so I'll probably give a fairer opinion then. But overall I'm very impressed with this year.

Would have to agree. Have cracked into three 15' BCBS since the Black Friday release and like you I'm nothing but impressed. In fact, it's drinking so well now I may be hard pressed to sit on the few I have left. I did also get into a bottle of 14' BCBS (as well as had some on tap) and, while slightly different than this year's, I wouldn't say that the 14' is "better" in any way.

Also, @phroztbyt3 hit me up when you're in town! May need an extra bottle or two of BCBS at the rate I'm going through them

There are bottles of BCBS sitting in the cooler at Star in Durango if anyone is still looking and will be in the area.

Also agree about '15 being one of my favorite years for the regular version. I have 12-15 sitting in my cellar fridge right now and '15 is def. my favorite when comparing them as "fresh" and not aged. I'm getting antsy to pop open the 2012 but since it's my last one who knows when I actually will do it.

Has anyone seen any replenishing of BCBS stock in the Denver/Boulder/Littleton area? I remember people saying after Black Friday that there were still "pallets of cases of BCBS" sitting in a distro warehouse. Personally, I haven't seen any hit shelves beyond Black Friday and the remaining lot that is still in stores in the mountain towns.

Ouch, there's a drive for ya' if you're from the Denver Metro area. Still, amazed that there is still some of this nectar hanging around. Appreciate the heads up though good sir!

I know of at least 3 places in the Springs that still have this for sale, including one for $7.99 right now. PM me if you need more info.

I was in Steamboat maybe 3 weeks ago and stumbled upon a craft beer store that also had regular just sitting in the cooler. I nabbed about 3 bottles and a BA Narwhal. I wouldn't be surprised if they still had some left (BCBS)

If like me you missed these this year they are pouring them at World of Beer Glendale right now. Not cheap but I'm drinking a sampler of 4 5 oz pours of 2014 stout, 2015 stout, 2014 barley wine, and 2015 barley wine for $25.

This is after all a bar so there's a mark up but 20 oz for $25 doesn't piss me off especially since I didn't have to stand in line--just walk in, notice the taps and order...
