We got very few of these in Indiana, and I missed out. I'd love to see more of these.

Im with you. I had one liquor store by my house that was stocked but thats because most people dont view it as a place to regularly buy craft. My go-to store, which promotes the hell out of craft beer, ran out of them before I had a chance to get it there.

Some where bottle conditioned (minimum 14 days added time) and a couple brewers actually wanted a little age (Bell's).

it sold out quickly here. i only got mine because someone else never picked it up or called.

while nothing blew me away, it was great to try such varying styles and some breweries i have never sampled.

it gave me and a few buddies an evening of sampling some stuff we will probably never again try, so that point of view has me smiling favorably on the release.

I agree with you on this point, I was very excited for the collaborations as it featured some of the best breweries that most do not have access too.

Kinda surprised that there's nothing really out there in terms of celebrating their 35th anniversary. Beer Camp could have fit that bill...

I personally loved the pack. Was very very hard to get. I thought it helped me try some styles that I wouldn't typically try, and all were very well crafted. Gave me some respect for those styles. Hope to see something similar in the future.

I loved the idea of it but the execution was less than desirable. I felt that a lot of the styles didn't really represent the collaborating brewery i.e. New Glarus There and Back. There was a great opportunity to do something fun and possibly with fruit, instead they did a English Style Bitter. Didn't make me race out to find more of their beer.

I'm confused why people are saying it was a one year thing.. I can remember the Beer Camp variety packs dropping every year since at least 2010.. last year was the first time they did it while collaborating with other breweries.. I saw SNBill's post tho..

The event was great! And the box of beer was a lot of fun. I understand that the beer took awhile to be distributed, but I feel that is likely an issue of distribution in your state.

Enjoyed them every year until last years, and I cannot comment on it because I did not purchase. The concept of 2014 seemed great, by the demand far exceeded the supply. Stores were charging exorbitant prices and I think that went against the spirit of the previous releases. I appreciated the collaborations and variety, but I've always been enjoyed purchasing more than one. Not everything enjoyable has to be a one off, the releases prior to that definitely drove home that point. Sorry to hear that there won't be a release this year.

I miss this pack - stood out big-time in a season of mostly weak summer offerings.

I take it you're not very familiar with New Glarus.
