Can anyone help me out... have any of you guys heard of issues with 2015 BCBS/BCBCS/BCBBW/Prop kegs? I know of the bottle issues but I hadn't heard of issues with kegs of the same beer. Any one?

To summarize what I've read on this site: GI admits no issues with any draft BCBS or variants but there are some reports, primarily out of Wisconsin, I think, of infected/sour/off 2015 BCBS kegs.

Sugar Maple near Milwaukee had a barrel of BW that was flat and tasted of cardboard. Not nearly as bad as the bottle but you could tell where it was going.

Flat and cardboard probably implies a keg/storage issue rather than some issue that arose from the beer itself, right?

Sounds like it lost its seal and became oxidized

Ya know, not too sure. I had the coffee fresh on tap and it was amazing but the barley wine the first two times I tried it had a tinge of sourness. I didn't like it from the get go.

The first time was at Fobab and the second I don't remember where, but it was chicago vicinity.

Yes – a few months back we had 2015 BCBBW on draft at a bar here in Madison that was clearly turned.

I have not had one issue at all.

I haven't seen an issue in Indiana regarding any of the beers on draft. The last Barleywine was tapped maybe six weeks ago and it didn't show any off flavors or signs. I drank Bourbon County on draft last night and it too was just fine.

Take a picture of the keg, the menu, your pour, and provide proof of purchase for your refund.

Local Option served BCBS 2015 and Prop 2015 in two months ago. Both tasted great and were consumed quickly and everyone enjoyed them.

Pretty sure they found that the bacteria was found on the bottling line so kegs should be a-ok. Even coffee and BW

It was found in the tanks they used to transport beer from the barrelhouse to the bottling facility.

I assume the bottling facility and kegging facility are the same place (never been, but it would be weird for them to be separate) so odds are draft is also affected

I've had BCBS and all of the variants on tap a ton of times over the past 8 months or so and haven't had anything infected. I'm not disputing that there has been a bad keg or two somewhere, but it seems to be a very low amount.

I had the BW at Sugar Maple and it was great. I was up there about 2 months ago.

I will have to respectfully disagree. While it wasn't undrinkable it was a shell of what it has been the past couple years. I would argue that it was not the beer they intended to put into that vessel.

Maybe there was an issue after it sat on for a while? I had it in Chicago and had the previous vintage a month previous and it tasted just as glorious to me. To each their own!

I mean.. it's entirely possible you guys had different batches of it.

Only 9 of the god knows how many of them were labeled as having the lacto infection..

I just had BCBCS on draft this afternoon and it tasted great as usual.
