2015 Clown Shoes Release Schedule*

This will be back at some point, most likely. We are going to do a small amount of the base beer (Royal Standard) in Cognac barrels to release late this year. No name or distro strategy yet.

 

Galactic is an awesome beer! So underrated. I buy it whenever I see it fresh!

 

@nicole309 Ill make sure you get some of this goodness. Especially the Rexx

 

Excited for maybe getting Billionaire this year! I had a Gargoyle Love Song recently and it was magnificent. Space Ghost was one of the most rewarding beers I have ever had as I wasn't sure if I would like peppers in my beer.

 

What will Mango be? Looking forward to more awesome beers from you guys! We love you in Ohio!

 

Hoppy Feet 1.5 was great, but Chocolate Sombrero in 4pks is just an astonishingly good replacement, such an incredible value for them at $10~ (nearly the same cost as the bombers).

Awww man, can't wait to add another to Michigan's already really great Old Ale lineup. Port barrels should be awesome for a style like Old Ale.

Clown Shoes is probably in my top 10 breweries at the moment, they just don't seem to make a bad beer.

 

Anyone seen Hammer of the Holy in Boston yet?

 

Hammer of the Holy has not been released yet. It is coming soon in very, very limited quantities. In Boston, check out Social Wines, Blanchard's Allston, Brookline Liquormart, Fort Point Market, and Huntington Wine & Spirits - they are all likely to get at least a case.

Has anyone else had an issue with Gargoyle Love Song?
My bottle had no notable flavors (no chocolate/coffee/cognac). Every mouthful was foamy and sulfuric.

 

@ClownShoesDreams Hey we get our fair share of Clown Shoes in Iowa and I drink a ton of it. Thank you so much and please keep it coming!

 

I've had a couple bottles and thought it was great. I found the body a tad on the thin side but not foamy and still great overall. I'm sure you tried it but I found it to be exponetially better as it warmed.

On a side note- any NJ folks that can hook a brother up with some Garden State Rhapsody will earn both my gratitude and some damn fine beer in return.

Seeing as how good Clown Shoes is at Barrel aging....I would love to see some barrel aged sours. Jus sayin...maybe 2016

 

Billionaire was originally planned for September, however, this may change and be moved earlier in the year.

 

Did anyone find Hammer of the Holy in PA this year?

 

Seems like every time I'm at the store, there is a new Clown Shoes beer I haven't seen before. But so far all of the beers I've tried have been quite tasty.

 

There was some in S. Jersey when I was there a couple of weeks back. Don't know now.

 

The Good, The Bad & The Unidragon was amazing!
