Idk man, it's not employees you have to worry about, it's customers that ruin it when places like Meijer have a no limit policy. One guy bought five 4pks, and only because that was all that was left. If I didn't take my case, he probably would have =D

Didn't you buy 6 4 packs at once?

I look forward to Hopslam every year, one of my favorites... but another DIPA that people should try is Ten-Ninety's Imperial IPA. I think thats my new favorite... I'll still take a Hopslam whenever I can get it though

HopSlam rhymes with Hot Damn. Coincidence, we think not!

A bunch of cases just came in at Hyvee. The price to me is a bit on the higher side, but closer to the "Ehhhh, alright", and further from the "Ehhhhh, na.

Oh I see.. you are trying to compare my local 6-pack price to your local singles price so that you can call me cheap. That's not how it works but I can play that game, check it out - Brewtago in York, PA. Dude split up his 6-pack to sell singles at $6.75 each. It's absurd and factually overpriced.

If it's not an IPA, then what is it? I completely disagree, unless you mean IIPA or Imperial IPA.

My local shop said he is getting his Hopslam on Tuesday (tomorrow). I will try to pick up 2-3 bottles, as I have way too much "beerventory" to warrant a six pack. Thankfully, he will do singles no problem.

I picked up a 6 for $20 on Friday, this year's batch is better than last year.

That said I don't feel the need to find more once my 6 are gone.

1st time post. I had my first ever Hopslam last night on draft in balmy southwest Florida which is pretty impressive considering we are a craft beer desert. It was fantastic. I could smell the honey but couldn't really taste it. Went down very smooth. Not a lot of alcohol flavor but at 10 % I could feel it. I liked the hop profile better than the Bells Two-Hearted that I had tried for the first time last week. I also liked that it wasn't overpowering with hops since I've only recently really started to enjoy IPAs and DIPAs. Very good overall and only paid 6 dollars.

My Ten-90 tasted infected. I got a sour waft when I was pouring it and knew I wasn't going to like it.

I drank a Hopslam last night, bottled on Jan 15. Not really into it...so If anyone wants 4 bottles, I'm happy to send them you way!

Got a six pack of it Monday its pretty good. I'm not sure if 18$ is worth it. It's only money I'll just live on hot dogs for a couple of days.

Ramen seems to be a "thing" now - skip the hot dogs in favor of a $.30 bag of Top Ramen to enjoy with that Hopslam, NOW you are trendy beyond imagine!

I honestly think these taste better with a little bit of age. I mean, they were originally intended to be shipped across the fucking ocean after all..

That said, every year Hopslam tastes a little less epic, but I think it has less to do with the quality of the beer (it's fantastic) than the fact that there's so much good shit out there atm.
