Shouldn't be difficult to locate as long as you don't sleep on it. Most I have talked to said they would get a couple different shipments, they just may go relatively quickly.

I picked up a couple of sixers in GR late this morning, so it's finally in town.

Yes indeed - the meijer I grabbed a sixer from had a decent amount but not as much as they did last year.

Just picked up a couple sixers at my local Busch's in metro Detroit. Shipment came in today -- selling for $16.99/6pk. Limit of 2 per customer. Guess the beer dude at Busch's said he only got half of what he ordered.

Can't wait to try the bottles. Had it on draft from two different bars over the weekend and they both tasted different. Hopefully the bottles will bring some consistency!

Exactly. I definitely think there's a difference between this batch and last year's. Of course, there's a number of factors at play (palette changing, age of the bottle etc.) but when I had a fresh bottle this weekend, I fell in love with it all over again. Tasted truly amazing.

Just a heads up to people in Grand Rapids... The cascade Meijer got their shipment today but after a few hours David said he had already sold about 25% of it. In years past it would hang out there for a few weeks but I don't expect it to last until the weekend at that rate.

    Cheers!

Yeah, and I'm now annoyed at myself for not buying more than one sixer last week. Hopefully I'll be able to take advantage of restocks later this week.

@loganburgh - from the people I've spoken to, there should be a second wave of this hitting SE Michigan bottle shops next Wednesday/Thursday...plan accordingly.

Stared at about 15 cases with no limit today... and all I got was a sixxer..:slight_frown:
But I was with my wife and will buy the case hidden in the back for me when she's not around..

Tried it on tap in Holland today. It was good, but not spectacular. It outclassed the Stone Enjoy By 02.14.15, but seemed a bit thinner than I remember. Normally, this is one of my favorite beers of the year, so it was a little disappointing. It was still good enough to justify picking up a sixer, though.

The difference in taste between bottles and draft is night and day (at least for me). So happy I decided to get two sixers instead of one as I was hesitant after having a couple glasses on draft. Let me tell you, the bottles are as good as ever!! Love this stuff.

I wouldn't have guessed it, but that's what I'm finding too. Just poured myself a bottle and it's so much better than what I had earlier. Totally love this stuff!

It's weird. I had a bottle last night and it seemed totally different. The bottle was definitely closer to what I was expecting and what you're describing. On tap, it was more dry and just didn't have that mouth-filling richness. It was also quite muted in terms of aroma and flavor, with an aggressive bitter edge. I'll pass on ordering it when I'm out, but am very, very glad to have gotten a sixer and may pick up another later today. MittenBrews mentioned this as well, but is anyone else finding big differences between draft and bottle?

A beer store south of 59 got theirs yesterday. Picked up the last sixer today. So there's definitely some going around. Recommend checking the smaller stores as they may not have sold out as quickly. Also, if anyone in the Macomb County area is out of luck and really wants some now, I can part with a few bottles (trade or $). PM me if interested.
