Please don't take this post as a complaint but... I let the first wave come in metro Detroit and tried to get one six pack out of the second wave. Hit up 4-5 stores I frequent, a few of which I easily acquired Hopslam last year....every single one had a damn list and all the slam they had was reserved.

I know it's been growing for a while now but damn...Crazy how big the scene has gotten in the past year.

 

IL is still waiting on the first wave to hit, (next week) while it has hit in your state twice and Wis once

 

What store on the east side did you find it at?

 

Second wave hit SE Michigan yesterday. The local store in Clawson had a single six pack limit and sold 12 cases out in under 45 minutes.

 

WI folks, have you tried this next to New Glarus Scream? I think Scream is better.

 

I'm not even buying any Hopslam now that Scream is readily available.

 

Scream is better. But that is not to take anything away from Hopslam.

 

Is scream a yearly thing? Only out for limited time?

 

Was to be a seasonal Thumbprint but they made it year round due to huge demand for it.

 

Awesome. Thanks. Great stuff. Always a fan of moon man but this for sure a step up.

 

Scream is definitely better.... But still enjoy a sixer or two of Hopslam. Its only around for such a short time and it is still an awesome IIPA.

Woodmans West on Gammon still had 6-8 cases out as of an hour ago. $14.99 per six pack or $14.75 if you get 4 or more.

 

A savings of $0.25/6pk doesn't seem very enticing lol.

 

how can is possibly be cheaper in WI than in MI? Taxes? I paid $17.99.
