i was not correcting your grammar. i was impressed that you were able to state with such finality that one beer would be better than another to every beer drinker in the world

I believe by him saying it's definitely better, he was expressing his personal opinion. He didn't mention that this is or should be the opinion of every beer drinker in the world. And I agree with him.

Um ok. At least our unrefined palates get our beer cheaper than Michigan's gouging.

You seem to have missed the part where I said I always buy Hopslam and said it was great.... Also Two Hearted is tied for my favorite beer.

Also Drew was right it was a opinion, no reason to take it seriously.

Hopslam and scream are pretty different to me. Like them both. Got a sixer today. Was 16.99.

I do not remember if this was answered yet but why is Hopslam not being canned this year?

My guess, and this is purely a guess, is "why fix what isn't broken? "

If it makes you feel any better, I got it for $14.50.

I heard they talked about it and to be honest I fully expected an announcement the week before the release. Oh well, I guess we'll have to wait till next year.

I could drive 30ish mins to Michigan, but I waited til it hit NWI. Got a case today for $82 after tax. Brutal, but they only got 7 cases in and my other spot didn't get any so I had to buy the case. Had to.

I was talking to a Bell's rep and they told me that they would love to make more Hopslam but don't have enough tank space with all of the Two Hearted they're cranking out right now. I guess they can barely keep up with Two Hearted demand and they both use the same dry hopping tanks.

True, but it seems like they have been canning a lot more seasonals lately and Troeggs has also taken to canning Nugget Nectar. Let us not forget how fun those mini-kegs of Hopslam were.

Maybe, but those Hopslam 5L's never came back either. From a retail perspective, i thought it was a silly thing to do. Why confuse a market and take allocated beer out of an established package? I don't want more Hopslam SKU's, i just want more Hopslam, ya know? Couple that with the fact that they made the exact same amount of Hopslam this year as they did last kinda quashes any package experimentation. I could see it going to cans eventually, but probably not 'til they ramp up production on it.

The Malt Shoppe in Tosa (Milwaukee area) has Hopslam on tap currently.

Touché. I do forget that Hopslam sells out instantly in many locations.
