I'm thinking about going this year, would be my first time. Just looking for past experiences and advice!
It's a whole lot of fun. It's the easiest beer release for a sought after beer ever because of the way Founders runs it. Simply, buy your tickets this upcoming Saturday, then go at any time on the designated day. Rarely is there too much of a line to get it since people can get it as they please, and then go enjoy one of the many specialty taps they put on tap for KBS week. Highlights last year included Panther Cub, BBA Red's Rye, and a new german hop varietal IPA, and here's to hoping this year includes Blushing Monk, Big Lushious, and even CBS.
